Anatomy-led lower-face aesthetics by Dr Arti Singh

The smile is the focus. The whole face is the frame.
The Smile Frame Method® is Dr Arti Singh's signature approach to lower-face aesthetics, an anatomy-led philosophy that treats the smile, lips, chin, jaw and surrounding structures not as separate features, but as one interconnected system.
Drawing on twenty years as a dental surgeon, Dr Arti brings a rare depth of expertise to the lower face. She reads the intricate relationships between the teeth, bite, lips, chin, jaw and surrounding musculature - and it is this understanding that allows her to create results that are balanced, natural and true to each patient's own anatomy. Where the lower face is often regarded as simply another area for treatment, the Smile Frame Method® recognises it for what it is: one of the most expressive, dynamic and structurally complex regions of the face.
No two treatments follow the same template. Each begins with a careful assessment of the individual's facial structure, smile and aesthetic goals, from which a personalised plan is developed. That plan may address the lips, chin and jawline, always with attention to how these features interact with the smile and the wider proportions of the face. The aim is never simply to add volume or alter a single feature, but to consider the frame around the smile in its entirety.

The Smile Frame Method® reflects Dr Singh's enduring commitment to anatomy-led, considered facial aesthetics, uniting an understanding of the smile, facial structure and soft tissues into a more complete approach to lower-face.
While the methodology influences every treatment Dr Singh performs, several treatments have been developed specifically around Smile Frame principles.
A subtle approach to improving lip quality, hydration and definition without creating unnecessary volume. For patients who want healthier-looking lips rather than larger lips.
A comprehensive treatment approach for perioral ageing, addressing lip support, skin quality and vertical lip lines. Because so-called "smoker's lines" are rarely caused by smoking alone.
A precise anti-wrinkle treatment that gently relaxes the upper lip to reveal a little more of its natural shape, with no filler needed. Ideal for a delicate, subtle enhancement.
A targeted treatment for excessive gum show when smiling. With her dental background, Dr Singh assesses whether the cause is muscular, dental, skeletal or a combination, so the most suitable treatment can be recommended.
Why the Lower Face Matters
The lower face is often treated feature by feature: a little filler here, a little softening there. But the lips sit over the teeth, the chin supports the lips, and the jaw frames them all, so changing one inevitably affects the others.
The Smile Frame Method® assesses every feature as part of a wider system: Teeth
-
Bone structure
-
Facial proportions
-
Muscular movement
-
Skin quality
-
Ageing patterns
-
The way the face moves during expression
Because no part of the lower face exists independently. Everything is connected.

The four pillars of the Smile Frame Method Ⓡ
Structure
Understanding what's underneath. Teeth, bite and bone shape how the lips and lower face sit, so every plan starts there.
Movement
Because faces aren't still. Results are planned around how you smile, speak and express yourself, not just how you look at rest.
Skin
The foundation of every result. Healthy, well-supported skin makes every other treatment look more natural and last longer.
Harmony
Less change, more balance. Small, considered adjustments across the frame achieve more than a dramatic change to one feature.
